From a hygienic point of view, it is recommended to replace your decontamination tank every 6 months.
In the disinfection tank, 70% alcohol is used. Alcohol attacks and will wear out your decontamination tray.
After cleaning your instruments with ultrasound, you put them in 70% alcohol in the tank for a while.
After a few minutes, open the tray and let the instruments air dry.
